Yes, high quality harmonicas are now being made in China. I tried Easttop harps a few years ago at NAMM, the National Association of Music Merchants trade show and I was surprised at the high quality. I tried out this model at NAMM and was very impressed --shocked, in fact. The one I tried played wonderfully and had some real weight to it. Wow. The comb is flat-sanded ABS.
